An interesting boxed set of 4 buttons, in a hard case, the silk lined lid printed: ROYAL WEDDING HRH The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer 29th July 1981.  In good condition except for some tarnish to the back of the silver coloured buttons.

There are 2 designs, each has one button in gold colour and one in silver colour metal.  Design 1 incorporates the Cypher of HRH The Prince of Wales alongside the Spencer Arms on a lozenge with motto beneath and The Prince of Wales badge of ostrich feathers with coronet and motto "Ich Dien", centrally above.  Design 2 incorporates The Prince of Wales badge of ostrich feathers with corontet and motto, the shield of the Duchy of Cornwall, the Arms of the Duke of Rothesay (which are his titles), along with the Spencer Arms on a lozenge with motto beneath, these 4 devices being interspaced with the National emblems of the United Kingdom - the rose, thistle, shamrock and leek.

The back of the buttons are backstamped: ROYAL WEDDING HRH THE PRINCE OF WALES and LADY DIANA SPENCER 29TH JULY 1981.
