Antique portrait button, with image of a young lady wearing a purple dress, on a pale blue porcelain plaque. Probably transfer printed with details touched up by hand. This is mounted on a metal base and surrounded by a claw-set paste rim. Probably French, c.1900. Very pretty collectable.

Set of 4 green glass buttons, still on original card. Card is printed QUALITY GLASS BUTTONS - WASHABLE - FOREIGN so probably imported from Czechoslovakia in the 1930’s. The buttons have a geometric design with 3 planes molded with diamonds, highlighted with gold lustre. Self shank. Card shows signs of wear commensurate with age, but buttons in good vintage condition. Price is for the card of 4.

Charming portrait of a young gilt in the Art Nouveau style. She is shown in profile, inside a stamped rim with a sprig of berries. Unmarked and untested but look like silver. Rolled rim for strength, and loop shank. Price is per button. Very pretty collectables.

Small antique black glass button, flat top with incised lines creating a chequered pattern, highlighted with a wash of coloured lustre. Also look like black bats round the rim (?) Domed back with metal loop shank secured by a metal collet. Vintage condition with age related wear to the back rim.

Stamped silver button from the Netherlands, with traditional ship design. Ribbon loop shank. Probably late 19th or early 20th century as the design has lots of detail but the rope rim is molded in one piece with the button. Tiny Dutch sword hallmark on the left hand side.
