Pretty pierced brass button with white enamel flower shape in the centre, over-painted with a pink flower. This is surrounded by a pierced brass border with tiny enamel flowers, inside a white enamel rim. Gilt metal back and loop shank. Probably French, late 19th century.

They were found still attached to part original card printed NOUVEAUTE in the Art Nouveau style. French buttons from the late 19th, or early 20th century. Price is per button.

Large vintage black glass button with stamped image of a horse and rider inside a molded rope rim, highlighted in silver lustre. This is surrounded by a broad black glass border with impressed circles. Large metal backplate and loop shank. Backstamped: MADE IN ENGLAND BIMINI LTD with the flower pot logo and BIMINI around the logo. The backmark is faint in places but definitely legible. Tiny nick to the inner raised glass circle (just above the horses head). There is also a slight dimple to the outer rim (6 o’clock) but this was in the molding rather than subsequent damage. Otherwise in good vintage condition and a lovely statement piece from this famous factory.

Antique button with stud shank, made from Victorian silver coins. The front is dated 1843 and has the Victoria crown over “4” which I think means 4d or old pence, sometimes known as a groat. This is attached to an even smaller coin on the back, which I think is a 1 ½ pence coin. From the back you can see both have the queen’s head and inscription VICTORIA BRITANNIA REGINA FD.

The enamel plaque is claw-set on a dark grey metal base, with a pierced rim embellished with cut steels. Flat back and U-shaped shank. Very pretty collectibles. Price is per button.
